Different Diplomas, Different Requirements

Even though I've known that there are three different types of diplomas offer, generally, I never really been told by school staff the requirements for each diploma; I only figured out the requirements when I googled it. however, today I finally got a sheet with all the requirements for getting a regents or advanced regents diploma. the major difference between a regents and advanced regents diploma is the foreign language section. A requirement for advanced regents is you have to have accumulated at least 6 credits in a foreign language and take the LOTE, an exam that is basically the regents exam. since you only need 44 credits to get a regents or advanced regents diploma the extra credits you get from the foreign language class is taken from electives, so you only need 3 elective credits for an advanced regents diploma; a regular regents diploma requires at least 7 elective credits. since I'm in a CTE academy in my school, I do not have to take the extra foreign language c

My name is Andoni, a junior at Information Technology High School. I'm in the Web Design academy at my school that teaches how to create web sites using html, css, and javascript. I don't really have times to pursue some hobbies, but when I do have some free time I usually go exercise. I enjoy being active and playing sports; I believe it really benefits your body. I like all sports but the ones I play exclusively are volleyball, soccer, and handball. Now a days I don't have time to enjoy sports because I'm pursuing my goals and ambitions in life. looking into the next 2 years of my life some goals are to graduate high school with a cte/advance regents diploma and get into a 4-year college. a huge dream of mine is to graduate college with a degree in biomedical engineering. although I want to pursue biomedical engineering, I still decided to join and continue in the program. this is mainly because I still need to have a profession when I get out of high school tha
